The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is warning people with allergies to milk and hazelnuts to stay away from Spartak brand cognac flavoured chocolate bars.

The Russian chocolate bars may contain milk and hazelnuts which are not declared on the label.

The bars were sold in Ontario, Quebec and B.C. and possibly other provinces as well with the UPC code 4 810067 06393.

There have been no reports of illnesses associated with the chocolate bars which could cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in people with milk or hazelnut allergies.

The importer, Wonderberry North America, Vaughan., Ont, is recalling the affected product, and the CFIA is monitoring the recall.
