Pharmasave ibuprofen, Remedy's Rx cold capsules recalled

Vita Health's recall of products for labelling issues is expanding to include more cold and pain products.

Health Canada said it's been informed by Winnipeg-based Vita Health that the latest products being recalled are Remedy's Rx Cold + Sinus and Pharmasave Extra Strength Ibuprofen Liquid Capsules 400 mg.

"A labelling error incorrectly states the product is packaged with a child-resistant bottle and cap," the regulator said.

The products were distributed nationally at the retail level.

Canadians can check for details on this and similar recalls on the Healthy Canadians website.
